Community Groups
The Port of Oakland works closely with its surrounding communities on aircraft noise management issues and coordinates several groups that meet regularly to address aircraft noise concerns and to make recommendations on noise-related issues at Oakland International Airport.

Workshops
Once a year, the Port of Oakland and the Noise Forum host an aircraft noise workshop for new Forum members and the general public where individuals can come to the airport and learn about the many complex issues surrounding aircraft noise concerns and noise management. FLYER
Community Advisories
During more immediate needs for outreach to the community, the Port of Oakland may publish a community advisory, but these are not permanent like the community groups. Find out more about community advisories here.
