Terminal Expansion Management Team
The Terminal Expansion management team is comprised of Port of Oakland/Oakland International Airport staff and supplemented by the JTB Airport Alliance for program management consultant support. The team’s mission is to reconstruct the passenger terminal facilities and roadways at Oakland International Airport to serve as a major gateway to Oakland and the East Bay and North Bay regions, with a cost-conscious approach, to provide convenient, cost-effective facilities with the realization that the theme of the terminal complex should reflect the diversity of the communities served.
Along with developing the program size, concept and theme, the Terminal Expansion management team has performed a number of studies necessary to implement the program, including such topics as delivery and contracting methods, program cost, affordability and financing, schedule and phasing, market analysis and concession planning, and integration of the Port of Oakland’s public art program.
